We broke it down into these 8 steps:

You and your Weichert Sales Associate meet for a "Buyer Consultation" to focus your search by analyzing what you want and need in a home.

Your Weichert Sales Associate introduces you to our Gold Servies mortgage partner who can help you determine your price range with confidence. Our Gold Services Partners can be your one-stop shopping for financing, homeowners insurance, and title insurance that can simplify your home purchase.

Our agents get to know you. Need to move for a job, want a shorter commute, marriage, baby, upgrade, downsize? What have you heard about the real estate market? Inventory levels, home prices, interest rates? We'll be there for you every step of the way. 

You and your Weichert Sales Associate tour available homes that meet your criteria. He or she helps you evaluate their relative merits and their true market value and also notifies you whenever new homes match your criteria.

When you're ready, your Weichert Sales Associate presents a written offer in person to the seller, along with a small deposit. The seller generally accepts your offer or makes a counteroffer to begin negotiations. 

Your Weichert Sales Associate will expertly arrange for all the steps to prepare for closing. Arrangements are made for appraisal, home inspections, insurance and title, and home protection plans. As your closing date approaches, your agent will confirm closing costs and do a final walk-through of the property with you. 

You sign mortgage and other documents. You agree on adjustments for miscellaneous items (taxes, heating oil, etc.). The seller is paid and you receive your title (or deed) and keys.
